Introducing…Toronto Osteopathic Manual Practitioner Margot Pic
Hi, my name is Margot Pic. I am a French Osteopathic Manual Practitioner (OMP). I treat all kinds of medical conditions, but I also specialise in newborns, children, pregnancy and athletes. As I hail from France, I completed my studies in Lyon at ISOstéo, a 5-year full-time diploma program in Osteopathy. To further enhance my knowledge, I conducted research studies for one year, which gives me a clinical research degree. During my final year, I also took additional classes on taking care of athletes during sports competitions, where I learned how to strap, K-tape, and provide some emergency care. Finally, I completed pediatric classes after my studies, to enhance my knowledge on how to treat newborns, children and pregnant women.
I really love to take care of newborns, because, most of the time there’s a lot of improvement even after just a few sessions, sometimes just one. What I love the most about my job is to understand why the pain appears, and where it is coming from. I love the diagnostic skills that being an OMP requires.
