Get to Know Mark:
What drew you to massage therapy?
I started out as a Personal Trainer, and wanted to find a more effective modality to help my clients recover from their training sessions. One of my friends was in Massage Therapy school and suggested I try the free course so I did. I have never looked back!
What do you love most about being an RMT and why?
I love that you can be directly involved in changing someone’s mood for the better. There is nothing more satisfying than a happy patient thanking you for helping them deal with their stress (whether mental or physical).
What are your favourite conditions to treat?
If I’m being honest, I love treating the conditions that aren’t so obvious. The body works in all sorts of ways, and it’s always refreshing to deal with conditions that may require me to hit the books again in order to tackle a challenge and stay sharp!
What do you like to do outside of the office?
I am a big time foodie and movie lover. Whenever I have free time I love to golf or play video games as well!
How would your friends describe you?
My friends would probably describe me as honest and trustworthy. Someone dependable to lend a hand whenever needed. I always treat my friends as I would treat my family.
