Endometriosis and Infertility

This lady is in her early 30's and has been trying to conceive for 3 years.  She has had 2 prior failed IVF attempts before coming to see me and was diagnosed with endometriosis.  We did weekly customized acupuncture treatments for 6 weeks initially. She also took herbs including Vitex, and supplements including calcium-d-glucarate.  After the initial 6 week series of acupuncture we continued with once per month treatments for 3 months.  She then conceived and has subsequently delivered a healthy baby boy.   

Allergies

This lady is in her mid-50's and has been suffering with year round allergies for 30 years.  She has had allergy shots with no benefit and has to regularly take anti-histamines to keep her symptoms under control.  Her symptoms include runny nose, itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, low energy and congestion.   She has experienced high stress levels for extended periods due to her job.  We supplemented her with vitamin C and a good quality B complex, did liver detoxification and intestinal cleansing and her allergies have improved so much that she no longer needs anti-histamines and rarely has any symptoms.  

Candida and Leaky Gut

This gentleman in his 20's came because he had been experiencing frequent sore throats and colds.  He had a history of repeated antibiotic use.  Digestion problems included bloating and gas with loose stools.  On testing his stool, we found that his antibiotic use had killed off most of his beneficial bacteria and allowed yeast and harmful bacteria to overgrow.  This was taxing his immune system trying to keep these destructive organisms under control leaving him more susceptible to other infections.  We cleansed his digestive tract with the natural substances that his stool testing indicated would be most effective and restored the good flora.  His immune system function and energy were greatly improved and digestive problems cleared up.   

Fertility Case

A woman in her 30’s came to see me for fertility problems; she had been trying to conceive for 4 years prior to coming to see me.  She had previously tried in vitro fertilization with no success.  After 2 months of treatment at our clinic, she got pregnant and she recently gave birth to a healthy baby boy.  Initially we did a thorough health history intake to determine possible reasons why this couple was having difficulties conceiving and then together we came up with a treatment plan that was suitable for them.  Treatment involved simple diet changes, high quality herbal and nutritional supplements and weekly acupuncture sessions. 

Skin Problems

A man in his 40’s came to see me for dermatitis.  After doing a case history, it was determined that he also had digestive problems.  We decided to do a comprehensive digestive stool analysis and we found out that the patient lacked good bacteria within his digestive tract and this was causing yeast overgrowth.   Treatment involved a digestive cleanse and dietary modifications and the dermatitis and digestive problems both immediately cleared and the patient is continuing to do well.

A female in her 20’s came to see me for cystic acne.  She had been suffering with cystic acne for years and she had tried numerous topical and oral medications.  We decided to have her tested for food sensitivities and heavy metals when it was determined that she had mercury toxicity and numerous food sensitivities.  We put her on a heavy metal detoxification program, cut out all foods that she was sensitive to and made some nutritional supplement recommendations and 1 year later the patient continues to be very happy with the improvements on her skin.
